Literally.<\/p>\n<p>Some frustrating hour later &#8211; frustrating because I have gone through this process on a previous occasion and forgotten to record the results of my cyber perambulations &#8211; I finally discovered the magic that would calm the whining little thing down and get it to do useful things, like scanning.<\/p>\n<p>It is is simply this: open\u00a0\/etc\/sand.d\/dll.conf and place a # in front of the word epson2 and remove the # from in front of the word epson.<\/p>\n<p>You should have something that reads like this:<br \/>\n&#8230;<br \/>\ndell1600n_net<br \/>\ndmc<br \/>\nepjitsu<br \/>\n<strong><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">epson<\/span><\/strong><br \/>\n<strong><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"> #epson2<\/span><\/strong><br \/>\nfujitsu<br \/>\n#gphoto2<br \/>\ngenesys<br \/>\ngt68xx<br \/>\n&#8230;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>This is a little by-the-by, an aide-memoir.
